Insurance Coverage Verification
We encourage all clients to verify their nutrition benefits before scheduling. While we make every effort to confirm eligibility, insurance coverage is not guaranteed, and you are ultimately responsible for any charges not covered by your plan.
To verify your benefits:

Call the member services number on the back of your insurance card.

Ask: "Do I have coverage for outpatient Medical Nutrition Therapy (nutrition counseling) with a Registered Dietitian?"

If requested, provide the following billing codes:

CPT: 97802 (Initial Visit) and 97803 (Follow-Up Visit)

Please note that coverage varies by insurance plan. Some plans only cover nutrition counseling for specific medical conditions, while others may require a deductible, copay, or coinsurance. Many plans also limit the number of covered nutrition visits each year.
